DC Wedding Photographer – Gorgeous, DC Blizzard Engagement at Union Station and Meridian Hill Park
The last thing I was expecting to see driving into DC after leaving my house at 4:30 AM was snow. Not just a light dusting – it was a crazy, blustery surprise. We had already rescheduled because of the blizzard earlier in January, and to see this was just crazy!
We were all still able to meet up at Union Station bright and early while the snow was still falling at it’s heaviest (and looking gorgeous), and decided we were just going to make the most of this situation. Everything ended up working out perfectly. No one was out on the streets so every bit of the landscape remained pristine. It was so secluded and romantic, and with lovely, classic DC architecture as your backdrop it is bound to look like a snow-covered fairytale.
These sweet souls braved some intense winds and below freezings temperatures for some really pretty shots and intimate moments – it called for lots of cuddling! This is one of my favorite DC engagement sessions to date, and I have always wanted to photograph a snow session – fate! Show these lovelies some love!
