It’s not everyday that you get to meet a real life Snow White. I mean this in all aspects – Julia is one of the sweetest people I have ever met, and her smile is contagious. She’s the kind of person you want to be around that inspires you to be optimistic and happy and see the prettiness in everything. I hadn’t ever worked with her before, but I am so glad we had to chance to do this shoot together. Elon University alumni are actually the best.
Not being from LA, I tried asking a lot of people what some great shooting spots are. Sometimes it’s hard to go searching for locations when you don’t exactly have a car readily available/don’t want to burn your friend’s gas up/love everything you see. I was told about Griffith Park which is more like it’s own city really because of how big it is. We went to a couple different spots within the area and everything was lovely. There was an old bat cave, gorgeous mountainsides, pretty little trees, and a red apple.
I was so lucky to be able to work with someone as talented as Julia as well as have a wealth of locations at my disposal all in one spot. We just had to hop a few feet and there was a mountain, and then a cave, etc. It was magnificent. I’m also in love with the gorgeous BHLDN Annabelle gown Julia is wearing in blush. I think blush is my new favorite wedding gown color.
Thanks again to Austin for hauling all of us girls around and listening to girly chatter (and lifting Julia up onto the tree!). Lindsey again, you are the best for capturing behind the scenes imagery and putting up with my photo shoot obsession.
